Privacy Policy

Effective August 4, 2026 · I Warden Corp.

Your receipts are scanned, read, and stored entirely on your device. We run no servers and collect no data — we cannot see your receipts, your spending, or anything else. Data leaves your phone only when you export it yourself.

What the app does with your data

The app photographs receipts, reads them with optical character recognition (OCR) that runs on your device, and stores the images and extracted details — merchant, date, amounts, categories, tags — in a local database on your device. Scanning works offline. No account is needed, and nothing is uploaded to us. There is no "us" to upload to: the app has no backend.

Camera and photo library

Camera access is used to scan receipts. Photo library access is used to import receipt images you already have. In both cases the images are used to extract receipt details and are stored only on your device.

Exports you control

You can send your data out of the app. Each of these happens only when you set it up and trigger it:

Purchases

In-app purchases are processed by Apple's App Store or Google Play. We never see your payment details.

What we don't do

Retention and deletion

Your data lives in the app's local storage. Delete a receipt and it's gone. Delete the app and your operating system removes everything it stored. Anything you exported is yours to manage where you sent it.

Children

The app is a general-audience utility, not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, children included, because we do not collect personal information at all.

Changes to this policy

If a future version changes how data is handled — an optional cloud-processing feature, for example — this policy will be updated before that version ships, with a new effective date noted here.
